A Temporary Stamp Code allows customers to collect stamps on your Stamp Card. It can be used multiple times and it does not expire.

To prevent misuse, the Temporary Stamp Code should always be accessible to staff but not left out for customers to scan on their own. Best practices include:

  • Behind the POS/counter – keep it out of direct customer view and bring it out only when needed.

  • Use a stand or frame – so staff can hold it up during transactions, then put it away when not in use.

  • Avoid open display – never leave the Temporary Stamp Code unattended on the counter, wall, or window where customers could scan it without supervision.

You may also want to consider setting up a time delay between stamping.

We recommend you either frame or laminate your Temporary Stamp Code to keep it clean.

Reminder: This is a temporary solution, best used while waiting for your primary method (StampPod™ or Stamp Tag) or for internal testing.
