Reward vouchers can have a predetermined expiry date. This means reward vouchers can automatically disappear from the user app, a certain number of days from when the reward voucher was issued to the member.
The expiry date is also displayed as a subheading underneath the reward name in the users list of rewards, so they know when they need to use it by.
Adding an expiry date to a reward voucher adds a sense of urgency for redeeming the voucher.
You are able to add or edit a reward voucher at any time from your Merchant Console (Pro & Elite plans only).
Instructions how to add a reward expiry date:
Login to your Merchant Console
Select Stamp Cards from the red left hand menu
Select the stamp card you wish to edit, by clicking the relevant tab under the page heading. If you only have one stamp card, you do not need to do this.
Select Edit details from the top left area
Select Rewards
Find the reward you wish to add the expiry date for. The grey borders separate each reward.
Select Edit next to the ‘Expires’ heading
Add the number of days from the reward being issued you would like it to expire in. Must be a whole number. Add 0 to set no expiry date.
Press Save & exit to save changes
Note: If you edit or add an expiry date to a reward that has already been issued to members, it will not apply the expiry date to their reward. Changes will only apply for rewards achieved from the moment you added the expiry.
