What is Lapsed Customer Messaging?

Learn about how you can re-engage members who have not collected recent stamps via the Lapsed Customer feature on the Merchant Console.

A Lapsed Customer message is a feature on the Stamp Me Merchant Console that allows businesses to re-engage with members after a certain period of no stamp collections.

Once set up, a message (often containing a call to action) will automatically be sent to the member as a Push Notification via the Stamp Me App.

Why send Lapsed Customer messages?

Lapsed customer messaging is a convenient way to mass target members you are at risk of losing to encourage them to transact with you again.

It can also be used as a reminder to take part in your Stamp Me program as well as for booking appointments, which may be useful for businesses such as barbers, hairdressers, dental and veterinary practices.

For example, if a member has not collected a stamp at their appointment for 60 days or more, you can set a message to send reminding members to book again.

Example Lapsed Customer messages:

  • We haven’t seen you around in a while… Make sure you stop by, we miss you!

  • It’s been a while since you last stamped. Don’t forget that you can earn some great rewards using our Stamp Me loyalty program!

  • Hair in need of a trim? Book your appointment now by contacting us on hello@haircutsnow.com

  • It's been 60 days since your last stamp. Don't forget to arrange regular treatments. Call us on 012345667 to book.
