Reward vouchers can be set to expire in a number of days, weeks, months or years from the date they were issued to members. They can help businesses know how many outstanding liabilities they have.

Alternatively, no expiry date can be set, so reward vouchers never expire and can be claimed at any time.

If you set an expiry date, it will be displayed as a subheading underneath the reward voucher in the rewards area on the Stamp Me App. It will then be automatically removed from the app after the displayed date, if it has not been claimed.

It is up to you whether you decide to add an expiry date or not. However we encourage you to think about what is a reasonable amount of time for redemptions to take place, based on the average transaction frequency a customer makes at your business.

For example, a hairdresser or barber may put an expiry date of six months, whereas a cafe may put an expiry date of one month.

If you add an expiry date, we encourage you to be generous and set months, rather than days, so it is fair for your members.
