The Temporary Stamp Code is a backup stamping method, designed for use while waiting for your primary method (like a StampPod™ or Stamp Tag) or for internal testing.
Where to Find Your Temporary Stamp Code
Once your Stamp Card is published, you’ll receive an email containing your Temporary Stamp Code.
You can also download it in your preferred format from the Stamp Methods section of the Merchant Console. Instructions here.
How to Print and Assemble
Open the Temporary Stamp Code file from your email or Merchant Console (it will appear in your browser).
Click the print icon and print it in colour on your local printer.
Important: ensure the downloaded file size matches your paper size.
3. Follow the fold lines:
First, fold horizontally so the QR code and instructions are side-to-side.
Then, fold vertically (left to right).
4. You’ll now have your Stamp Code displayed on one side, with instructions for staff on the other.
Where and How to Display
The Temporary Stamp Code should always be accessible to staff but never left out for customers to scan on their own. Best practices include:
Storing behind the POS/counter – keep it out of direct customer view and only bring it out when needed.
Use a stand or frame – staff can hold it up during a transaction, then put it away afterwards.
Laminate it - if you don’t use a frame, laminate it to protect it from dirt and wear.
Never display openly – don’t leave the code unattended on a counter, wall, or window where customers could scan it without supervision.
