When entering member contact details for sending multiple email invites, it’s important to format the data correctly.

You must copy the format exactly as shown in the example below, including matching spacing and the vertical line:

Here are a few DOs and DON’Ts:

DO:

✔ Put the first name after the email address. If you do not know the name or do not wish to include it, simply use ‘Hello’ (just make sure you do not add the +[First name] dynamic field to the body of your message).
✔ Use the vertical line symbol (also known as a vertical bar or pipe) to separate the email and first name.
Tip: Your vertical line symbol is located above the Enter/Return key on most standard QWERTY keyboards. To type the vertical line, press *Shift + * simultaneously.
✔ Add a space before and after the vertical bar symbol.

DON’T:

❌ Use emojis.
❌ Use any punctuation.
❌ Leave the first name field blank (see above if you don’t have the customer’s first name).
❌ Use any divider other than the vertical bar.

If you do not follow the correct format, an error message will appear below the box after you click ‘Next’:

Here is an example of the correct formatting with multiple contacts added:

If you need assistance with formatting your data correctly, you can try uploading members via a CSV file, located to the right of the multiple member option. Alternatively, you can contact us for assistance.
